Hello! Thank you for visiting the Support a Saint website! We hope you have a great experience navigating the website, and we hope you will be encouraged to hear about all of great work happening in the Kingdom of God all over the world!
What Should I Do Now?
One of the main goals of Support a Saint is to provide financial support for our brethren who require assistance across the world. It is our hope that you will navigate to the Evangelists page or the Works of Benevolence page of the website and begin reading about the great works these excellent men of faith are doing. If you would like to contribute to their work, please fill out the Name, Email, Monthly Report, and Donation Amount fields before submitting the form. After submission, you will be re-directed to another page where you will be provided with instructions for how to send money to the work (via PayPal or Worldremit). If you would like more information about the work before providing support, leave the Donation Amount field blank and the evangelist will reach out to you shortly via email.
Although one of the main goals of Support a Saint is to provide financial assistance, it is also our hope that Support a Saint will allow you to build a closer relationship with our brethren in other areas of the world. It is our desire that you will start an email conversation or a WhatsApp discussion with the evangelist, forming a personal relationship with him. If you have any questions to ask the evangelist about doctrinal issues, we hope you would ask these questions during these conversations as well. We encourage you to have a virtual Bible study with the evangelist over WhatsApp or other electronic media. Doing so will give you encouragement from the Word, it will give our evangelists encouragement, and it will bring glory to God!
In today’s society, it is common practice to be very disconnected from mission work we support in different areas of the world. Usually when we support a missionary, we hear a report from him once or twice a year. We hear about baptisms that happened 6 months ago. We hear about needs that were addressed in the year prior. We do not get to “rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15) when we are so disconnected. However, if we start to truly build relationships with our brethren, we will see supporting them in a completely different light. We will grow to love them. We will get so much encouragement from them on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, and hopefully they will be encouraged by us as well. We are able to rejoice with them in real time when a new soul comes to Christ in their area. We are able to provide for their every need as soon as we hear of it (Philippians 4:10-20). With the technology we have today, we are able to pick up our phones whenever like and video chat with them. Now, we are able to truly see the needs for ourselves and hear the enthusiasm for sharing the gospel in their voices. Developing that sort of relationship is the main goal of Support a Saint.
